摘要
1905年废科举前后,各地兴起办学热潮,但新式学堂应该如何办理,其规模和形式如何,各地却各行其是。究其缘由,新式学堂在发展过程中出现的种种问题,导致各阶层的价值取向发生冲突,社会各界对新式学堂这一新鲜事物所表现出的更多的是一种彷徨与无奈。废科举前后所呈现出的社会紊乱状态,说明转型期新式教育的培养方式导致社会结构逐渐脱序。
In 1905, before and after abolition of Imperial Examination System, all parts of the country appeared with a running-schools upsurge. All parts run the new type schools as their own ways, and they did not meet with common agreement about the new type schools. Why was there such phenomenon? In its development the type schools had some problems which induced value conflict of each stratum in growth trend. Each stratum showed more hesitation and had no choice about the new type schools. Trough the facts we know that social disorder emerged before and after the abolition of Imperial Examination System.
