被误读的《孔雀竹石图》

The Picture of Peacock, Bamboo and Rockeries(Kong Que Zhu Shi Tu) Misread

学界对八大山人的《孔雀竹石图》有几种差以千里的解读,主要缘于解读者对题画诗中"三耳"的不同理解。考镜源流,辨析明清两代诗词中"三耳"的具体含义,"三耳"是指纵横驰骋的论辩,既非"三只耳朵的奴才",也非"张三耳",给题画诗以客观、历史的解读,还原八大山人题画诗的原意。据此认定《孔雀竹石图》并非为讽刺宋荦所作,更非讽刺画,而是描写入夜吟诵,纵横辩论的场景。

There are several interpretations abruptly different of the Picture of Peacock, Bamboo and Rockeries(Kong Que Zhu Shi Tu)by Ba Da Shan Ren in the academic field, which mainly because the interpreters have different ideas about the word 'san er'(three ears in literal) in the poem on the painting. To do textual research about the exact meaning of 'san er' in the poems in the Ming and Qing dynasties, I find that 'san er' means debate with advance freely and quickly, but not 'servant with three ears',nor literally 'Zhang San'er', so that to interpret poems in paintings in an objective and historical manner, and to find the original meaning of the poems on paintings by Ba Da Shan Ren.
