Pan's Happiness: Music Factors in Landscape Creativity: Theme Sculpture “Blooming”in the 8th Session of Chinese Flowers and Plants Expo

第八届中国花卉博览会主题雕塑《绽放》由南京林业大学景观设计研究所创作完成,获得社会广泛好评。本文围绕《绽放》的创作动因与设计构思,结合古希腊神话故事,深入讨论如何以视觉再现方式表达音乐主题,又如何在现代设计中表达人性关怀,凸显文化内涵。

As the theme sculpture of the 8th session of Chinese Flowers and Plants Expo, ＂ Blooming＂ , completed by research institution of landscape design of Nanjing University of Forestry, has attained a wide praise in society. Based upon the creative impetus and design conception of ＂ Blooming＂ , and integrating ancient Greek mythology, this paper profoundly discusses how to represent music theme in a visual way, and how to express humanistic concern and high- light cultural connotation in modern design.
