EFFECTS OF Y_2O_3 ADDING TECHNIQUE ON MICROSTRUCTURE AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF Y-TZP CERAMICS

摘要 研究了采用机械混合和化学共沉淀两种方式引入Y2 O3 对Y-TZP材料结构与性能的影响 .研究表明 ,虽然机械混合引入Y2 O3 制备的Y-TZP材料因产生双晶结构并伴生气孔 ,使材料的强度有所降低 ,但因其形成ZrO2 晶粒中Y2 O3 含量外高内低的“核”结构 ,使其韧性和抗低温老化性能较共沉淀法引入Y2 O3 制备的Y-TZP材料明显提高 . The effects of powder processing techniques (i.e. mixed and co_precipitated) on the microstructure and properties of Y-TZP ceramics were investigated. It is shown that the mixing method results in non_uniform doping of Y 2O 3 into ZrO 2 grains and abnormal grain growth of phase with higher Y 2O 3 content. This leads to a development of bimodal grain structure and accompanies with the formation of large pores. The inhomogeneous distribution of Y 2O 3 in ZrO 2 leads to the enhance transformability of the core structure and higher toughness and inhibits the low temperature degradation.
