以甲醛、异丁醛为主要原料，开展了２ ，２ － 二甲基－ １ ，３ － 丙二醇羟基特戊酸单酯的小试合成研究，考察了物料配比、温度、反应时间、催化剂用量等因素对反应的影响，产品总收率大于７５ ％ ，纯度９９ ％ 以上。

Dimethyl-3-hydroxypropyl 2,2-dimethyl-3-hydroxypropanoate was synthesized with formaldehyde and isobutylaldehyde as raw materials. The effects of reactants ratio, temperature, time and catalysts on the reaction were studied. The yield of the product was over 75%. The purity of the product was 99% and over.
