There are the following three points that deserve attention. First, the course attracts many specialists and scholars specializing in Taiwan, Hong Kong ing the dominant figure. Second, the course adopts , and Macao literature research, with Professor Cao Huiming bean explanatory model which unites history with theories on the writers and their works. With its reasonable framework, the course, which builds theory through history, is both academic and practical. Third, the course avoids the mode of sociological criticism that is characteristic of early works of this kind.
