最早接触到“机器人”这个词汇源于一部“六神合体的雷霆王”的动漫剧。剧中主人公雷霆王是一位地球的星级卫神，由六种机器人组成：盖亚、乌拉尼斯、泰坦、琴、莱和斯芬克斯，六神合体，威力无穷，粉碎了宇宙的野心家祖鲁爆破地球的阴谋。从那之后，机器人的惊天豪气与超级侠义范儿，便深深地植根在了心田。随着世界科技的高歌猛进，机器人在人类的舞台中必将扮演更多的且必要的配角，同人类一道共同演绎出精彩的人生大戏!
TIS is a mobile robot, and I helped design it. Actually, OTIS is just one of about twenty robots I helped create. CECIL crawls inside the dangerous reactor areas of nuclear power plants and submarines. RoBallcan walk inside steel pipes and inspect them with a tiny camera. And SURBOT climbs stairs, guards high-security areas, and lifts heavy objects.
