摘要
挪威画家蒙克是20世纪初期德国表现主义艺术流派的先驱。他的作品中充满了疾病、死亡、情爱等主题,这一类绘画题材来源于画家本身真实经历。他的作品受哲学家尼采观念的影响,既有对孤独、死亡的刻画,也有对光明的渴望。他的创作形式不仅局限于油画,木刻、石版、铜版、壁画方面均有独特的创造,其中尤以"生命"组画最为出色。20世纪初期的西方社会,面临着深刻的社会危机和精神危机,艺术上面临着理性主义与表现主义的争论。蒙克的作品揭示了那个时期人们隐蔽的心灵,表现了人类内心共有的痛苦与快乐,直接推动了德国表现主义艺术流派的兴起。
