摘要
古玺印风在当代篆刻界的走红,实际上是当代印人利用新出土古文字以突破古人的必然结果,在古玺创作繁荣的表象背后,亦见出诸多不容乐观处,如年轻篆刻从艺者浮躁、不耐心,篆刻不究篆法、书意泯灭等。反观印学史,若当代古玺创作健康持续发展,将在篆刻史上产生重要的史学价值,即开拓一个全新的篆刻创作取法领域,真正突破传统印学"印宗秦汉"独专其美的格局,将来的印学,将不再单提"印宗秦汉",还有"印宗古玺"。
The style of Chinese pre-Qin seals is popular in seal cutting today, whmh is an lnevltaote consequence o, modem seal cutting artists' endeavor to merge the newly unearthed ancient characters into their seal creations. Howev- er, behind the superficial prosperity, there are some defects such as the fickleness and impatientness of the young carving artists, carving without the guide of basic seal character writing principles and a lacking of calligraphical beau- ty, etc. Reviewing the history of sphragistics, it is perceivable that if the modem seal creations of pre-Qin style keeps to develop healthily, it will produce great historical value. Namely, a whole new frontier of seal cutting style will be opened up by breaking the shackles of traditional learning model, so that in the near future people no longer choose seal cutting style of Qin and Han Dynasties seals only, but also the pre-Qin seals.
