程丑夫教授认为肿瘤的病机以局部为实,整体为虚;扶正祛邪为基本治法,结合治痰、治瘀、治郁、治虚的法则,"四治"合参,突出肿瘤以"治虚"为主,并在辨证基础上按病位择药,精择虫药,治疗肿瘤临床疗效显著。

Professor CHENG holds that the pathogenesis of cancer is local excess and whole body deficiency; therefore, emphasis on treating deficiency in cancer cases, strengthening vital Qi and eliminating pathogenic factors are the basic treatment methods which combine with treating phlegm, blood stasis, stagnation and deficiency; moreover, choosing drugs is according to syndrome differentiation and pathogenesis location. These are proved to be significantly effective in clinic.
