The Warm Good People

在是否还需要继续学雷锋的争论中，大量的志愿者和义工的出现，让学雷锋有了新的载体，也让中国的奉献行为逐渐向国际看齐。从某种意义上说，社会上拥有青年志愿者和义工，就是这个城市文明进步的风向标，昭示着人们对美好社会的一种向往与行动。

The emergence of volunteers adds a new medium for learning from comrade Lei Feng and emulating the international standard of dedication. In a way, that a society has young volunteers is a marker of the civilized progress of a city and displays people's yearning for a better society. Taking the tenet of 'undertaking social responsibilities actively and dedicating personal time and spirit without any material rewards', the volunteer service rose up in the 1990s. The Wenchuan Earthquake and Beijing Olympic Games in 2008 brought Chinese volunteers into international sight. Without distinction of gender andage, these volunteers try their best to participate in the activities that can promote the social progress and warm their society. They abide by the spirit of dedication and don't go after fame or money. The volunteer service has melted into our life. More and more volunteers are busy around us. Maybe their work seems not worth mentioning, but they beautify the environment, make things easy for others, and warm our society.
