A Dream of Red Mansions Cultural Translation of the Uyghur Translation

从谚语、成语等文化词语的角度观察分析了《红楼梦》维吾尔语译本中的文化现象的处理,并讨论了汉维语翻译中归化和异化的选择,认为需要防止两种极端倾向,以异化为主,归化为辅,两者互为补充,达到两种文化"恰恰调和"。

From pers pectives of proverbs, idioms and cultural words, this article analyses the translation of the cultural phenomenon in the Uyghur version of A Dream of Red Mansions. It discusses the selection of adaptation and alienation in translation between Chinese and Uyghur language, and argues that both of the two tendencies should be avoided. Mainly by alienation, and with the help of adaptation, these two complement each other to achieve two culture＆quot;on the harmonic＆quot;.
