摘要
在云计算资源分配问题的研究中,云计算环境下数据中心面临的一个重要问题是如何缩短虚拟机的部署耗时。在虚拟机的部署过程中,镜像分发占用的时间最长,为解决上述问题,对镜像的存储方式进行了优化,提出了区块级别的分布式镜像存储。在上述分布式存储环境下,镜像分发的耗时与映射结果紧密相关,首次研究了分布式镜像存储环境下的映射问题,建模为"线性0-1整数规划问题",并给出了多项式时间复杂度的解法,并进行仿真。大量仿真结果表明,改进方法能够有效的减少镜像分发的耗时,并且能保证在不同环境参数下的性能稳定。
Cloud computing centers face the key challenge of reducing the latency of deploying diverse virtual ma chines. In the deployment process, provisioning virtual machine images is the most crucial point. The prior research of the paper proposed an innovative image storing mechanism called chunk level virtual machine image distribu tion. In the distributed environment, the efficiency of provisioning images is closely associated with the result of vir tual machine placement. Therefore, we explored virtual machine placement in distributed environment for the first time, and transformed the problem into a "0 1 integer programming" problem which can be sovled with time com plexity of Polynominal time. Plenty of evaluations show that the proposed placement algorithm can shorten the latency of image provisioning, and the performance is very stable in diverse environments.
