炭黑表面改性对硅酸锆包裹炭黑色料的影响 被引量:5

摘要 本文以无水四氯化锆和正硅酸乙酯为前驱体,氟化锂为矿化剂,炭黑为着色剂,研究了炭黑的硝酸氧化改性和表面活性剂改性对炭黑悬浮液的稳定分散和硅酸锆包裹炭黑(ZrSiO4/C)色料黑度的影响。电动电位(Zeta电位)、红外(FTIR)、白度仪、扫描电镜(SEM)、紫外-可见分光光度计分析测试的结果表明:硝酸氧化改性炭黑表面含氧官能团增多,并且颗粒表面带电量发生改变,有助于炭黑的悬浮和硅酸锆对炭黑的包裹;聚乙烯醇缩丁醛(PVB)的空间位阻作用和增大体系粘度的双重效应有利于炭粉在乙醇中的稳定悬浮;聚乙烯吡咯烷酮(PVP)、十二烷基硫酸钠(SDS)和十六烷基三甲基溴化铵(CTAB)通过静电机理和空间位阻作用使炭粉在水中稳定悬浮,但考虑到对炭黑悬浮液Zeta电位的改变,PVP和SDS更有利于硅酸锆溶胶对炭黑的包裹。 ZrSiO4/C inclusion pigments have been prepared using anhydrous ZrCl4 and Si( OC4H9)4 as precursors, LiF as mineralizer and carbon black as colorant. The effects of nitric acid oxidation and surfactants modification of carbon black on the suspension stability and ZrSiO4/C inclusion pigment were investigated. The test results of Zeta potential, FTIR, Colorirneter, SEM and UV-Vis spectrophotometer show that the nitric acid oxidation modification increases the oxygen-containing functional groups and changes the surface charge of carbon black, thus helps to improve the suspension of carbon black and inclusion effect of ZrSiO4/C pigment; PVB is beneficial to stabilize the carbon black particles in ethanol solution by the double effects of forming steric hindrance and increasing the suspension viscosity. PVP SDS and CTAB have obvious improvement on the dispersion stability of carbon black in water due to the electrostatic and sterie hindrance mechanism , but considering the surfactants function on the Zeta potential change of carbon black suspension, PVP and SDS are more favorable to the inclusion of carbon black by zirconium silicate sol.
