摘要
现代生物技术是20世纪70年代在DNA重组技术等分子技术的基础上由传统生物技术发展起来的。它是由分子生物学、生物化学、遗传学、细胞生物学、微生物学等多学科密切联系、相互渗透的一门综合性高技术学科,为动物的疫苗接种、病菌检测、疾病诊断和治疗、动物育种等方面提供了新的方法和途径。现代生物技术也将为畜牧业作出不可估量的贡献。就现代生物技术在动物医学中的应用进行了简要综述。
Modem biotechnology is based on recombinant DNA of molecular technology from traditional biotechnology development in 1970s. It is a comprehensive high-tech disciplines by molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, cell biology, microbiology and other disciplines in clo~ contact, mutual penetration, and provides a new method of vaccination, pathogen detection, diagnosis, treatment of disease, and animal breeding. Modem biological technology shall make an invaluable contribution to animal husbandry. The application of modem biological technology in animal medicine were briefly reviewed.
