Weed problems in wheat field of Suzhou City have become more serious in association with changes in the cul -tural practices , including the promotion of no -tillage cultivation , leaving all the straw in the field from rotational rice crop, weed population shifts , and improper use of herbicides .For effective weed control , farmers should adhere to inte-grated practices based on prevention and management , including the judicious use of chemical methods available in wheat .
