简论柯旺的女性主义技术研究及其特点

A Preliminary Discussion on Ruth Schwartz Cowan's Feminist Technology Study and its Characteristics

以性别观和技术观的嬗变为视角,考察柯旺的技术研究进路及其特点,认为她的技术思想经历了从"技术决定论"到"建构论"的转向;其研究对象经历了从家用技术、生产技术到生育技术的基本变迁;研究视角从强调技术与性别的社会建构性,逐渐转变为强调它们在文化上的相互建构关系。

From the perspective of the evolution of the views of technology and gender, this article explores the approaches and characteristics of Cowan＇s technology study. It suggests that Cowan＇s view of technology has changed from ＂Technologi- cal Determinism＂ to ＂Social Construction of Technology＂ from the 1960s to the 1980s; the objects of her study have expand ed from ＂household technology＂ to ＂production technology＂ and ＂reproductive technology＂ ; the research perspectives have shifted gradually from the social construction of technology and gender to the cultural mutual construction and shaping of gender and technology.
