习水县千余座的鳛人石棺椁墓葬文化,堪称贵州第一。今贵州黔北的夜郎系民族的远古先人是不狼山(濮郎山)人。其中的一支鳛人,进入四川,跟纵目的蜀人(蚕丛氏)文化融合,友好相处,被称为"髳人"或"髳鳛"。另一支鳛人在习水河流域,建立了鳛国。故鳛人跟髦人都曾经有过类似的石室文化。《百家姓考略》"髳鳛"部族"皆巴蜀之民也"。鳛国在历史上共存在了3324年。鳛人石棺椁墓葬品类齐全,时代序列完整,数量很多,共分崖石棺和石棺椁两类。《酉阳直隶州志》的记载。猪婆龙抢宝的两边为对称的两尾鳛鱼是鳛部民族典型的图腾崇拜,因而是鳛国的国徽。习水的仓头坝应该是鳛国的首府。日本弥生时代的石棺椁和石瓮是夜郎鳛国石棺椁的日本化。

The over one thousand Stone Coffin burial culture of Xi human in Xishui county is called the first of Guizhou.Today the ancient ancestry of Yi Lang system Ethnic in north of Guizhou is Bu Lang mountain human.One branch of the Xi human entered Sichuan,and the culture of which was combined with the culture of Shu human with eyes erecting.They got along with each other very good,were called Mao hu- man or Mao Xi.Another branch of Xi human built the Xi country in the valley of Xishui.Therefore,both the Xi human and Mao human ever had similar stone house culture.It is said in The Study of Chinese traditional Surname that the ＂Mao Xi Ethnic＂ are all the people of Chongqing and Sichuan. The Xi country was ex- isted 3324 years in history.The sorts of Stone Coffin burial of Xi human are very complete ,and the Era series of which is also very complete,the quantity of which is large.They can be divided into the stone coffin on the cliff and the stone coffin.It is said in The History of You Yang which be managed strictly by Provincial Government that the two tail Xi fish which the two side are symmetrical for the Yang Zi crocodile snatching treasures is the typical totem worship ,therefore it is the national emblem of Xi country.The Cang Tou dam of Xishui should be the capital of Xi country.The stone coffin and the big stone jar in the YAYOI period of Japan are the Japanese technology of the stone coffin in the Xi country of Yi lang.
