It is an urgent task for the experts and teachers to do researches into college English teaching for the students majoring in art and sports in order to improve the present situation. There is no doubt that we can benefit from Project Teaching Method featuring practicality and independence. To realize practicality, we must make full use of the students unique advantage in their majors and combine them with the teaching. In this way we can inspire the students to take part positively. On the other hand, by completing the project independently, the students can develop a habit of self- study, which is of great imprtance for the students in his whole life.
