艺体类大学生公共外语课程改革刍议

On the Foreign Language Curriculum Reform for Art and P.E.College Students

当前艺体类大学生对外语学习没有兴趣、公共外语教学效率低,源于艺体类大学生入学考试形式不同,外语程度参差不齐;教学内容不适合学生,教材针对性不强,内容较深;班级人数众多,师生沟通不畅等。鉴于此,提出艺体类大学生外语课改建议,即开设专门外语课,开发专业外语校本教材;充分利用现代化设备,改变授课方式;增加通识课课时;外语免修等,以期使学生能学有所获,教师教有其乐。

At present, college students of art and P.E. majors are not intrested in learning foreign language which rusults in low teaching efficiency because the students have different foreign language levels owing to the different exam form from other majors in the college entrance examination; the textbooks are not targeted in the teaching contents are not suitable for them; moreover, the numerous students cause leas communication between teachers and students. Suggestions for the foreign language curriculum reform have been put forward, ie. , set- ting esp courses, development of esp textbooks; making full use of modern eqippments and changing the teach- ing ways; adding up liberal studies; exemption of foreign languages in order that students can banifit from learn- ing while the teachers may enjoy teaching.
