Design and Implementation of WebGIS for Urban Pipeline Based on ArcGIS and Silverlight

阐述了结合WebGIS技术管理并利用地下管线信息的重要意义,提出了基于ArcGIS和Silverlight的城市管线WebGIS设计方案,利用ArcGIS API for Silverlight及Silverlight SDK开发了实际应用系统,即天津市静海县城区地下管线信息管理系统。

In this paper, the significance of management and using pipeline information with WebGIS are expained. And the design of WebGIS for urban pipeline based on ArcGIS and Sil- vedight was offered. And then, using ArcGIS API for Silverlight and Silverlight SDK, a prototype, the managing system of urban pipeline information for Jinghai County, Tianjin City, is implemented.
