z In this paper, the present condition of gas management in Harbin was discussed. Analysis was carried out on the necessity, feasibility and practical significance of gas information management. The function and composition of management information system, as well as system construction solution were deeply researched. The information management system of urban gas was designed, which is helpful for the construction of urban gas information management.
