For a long time,the archive management is mainly about paper archives,however,there is essential difference between paper and electronic archives in carrier, information storage form and management and utilization, etc.Therefore, discussing the particularity of the electronic archive to find the proper method of management is definitely helpful to the future archive work.Based on the various characteristics of electronic archives,the paper discusses the impact of those characteristics to the management and utilization of archive.
