摘要
乔治·奥威尔曾发表赛珍珠《大地》的书评和萧乾英文著作《龙须与蓝图》的书评,国内赛珍珠和萧乾研究界对这两则重要书评尚不知晓,现特将此译成中文并加以相关注解。
The well-known English writer George Orwell once wrote two reviews respectively on Pearl S. Buck＇s The Good Earth and Xiao Qian＇s The Dragon Beards versus the Blue Prints shortly after they were published. But in China＇s Pearl S. Buck Studies and Xiao Qian Studies, these two important reviews have not been discovered yet, so they are translated into Chinese here for academic reference with necessary annotations.
