Shaanxi is a place with magnificent mountains and rivers, rich resources and numerous talents. In Chinese civilization about 5 000 years, Shaanxi was the stage for many important historical events and famous historical characters which has played an important role in both China＇s and the world＇s historical development and cultural inheritance. In Shaanxi there is the most valuable and proudest memory for Chinese people. It is the spiritual home of Chinese nation and represents the culture in the most glorious period of ancient China. What is more, Shaanxi has numerous historical books, the unearthed cultural relics and historic monuments, which are telling its past glories and vicissitudes.
