广西新生代农民工之特征探析

On the Characteristics of the New Generation of Migrant Workers in Guangxi

目前新生代农民工问题日益受到政府和社会各界的广泛关注,也是社会学界研究的一个热点。新生代农民工具有如下特征:受教育程度普遍提高但技能依然偏低,乡土观念淡薄,社会交往范围扩大,城市归属欲高,消费方式城市化,维权意识增强,寻找发展机会增多,就业不稳定、怕吃苦且参保率低,强烈的文化断裂感。了解他们的基本特征,采取有效措施解决他们的实际问题,对构建和谐社会具有积极意义。

Recently ,the issues of the new generation of migrant workers have been attached great importance by government and all walks of life ,which has also become a hot topic for the researchers of social institutions .The new generation of migrant workers has been characterized by a general in-crease in education level but still lowness in technical ability ;a dimmer impression on their home-town;a wider cycle for social communication ;a higher sense of belongingness to the cities ;a urban-ized consumption form ;a stronger sense of protecting their rights ;more opportunities for one’s ow n improvement ;instable employment due to fear of hardship ;a low rate of participation of insurance ;and a stronger sense of cultural fragmentation .It is of great significance to build a harmonious society by knowing these basic characteristics and taking effective measures to solve their actual problems .
