翻译行为是一种阐释行为，翻译中的阐释就是译者对源语文本在理解的基础上的解释。口译是翻译的一种特殊行为。汉英两种语言差异较大，字对字地直译无法译出实质的内涵。因此，阐释行为理论对于口译译员有具体的指导意义。

Translation can be seen as an act of hermeneutics. In translation the hermeneutical act is based on the understanding of the original text. Interpreting is a special part of translation. Due to the huge differences be- tween the Chinese language and English language it is impossible to bring out the rich connotations of the origi- nal text by merely adhering to a word-to-word representation. Thus an application of hermeneutical act theories would be of special significance to an interpreter.
