Mr. Li Lingpu＇ s Academic Life： Passion to Dream Long Lives, Even Though Body Fades

李玲璞先生的一生是伟大的奉献的一生。十二册巨著《古文字诂林》“构起一座中国语言文字学长城”，这是一个“不寻常的学术成果”。先生在文字学研究领域里能取得硕大成果，缘于他一直以来坚持不懈的刻苦的学术追求，从《甲骨文选读》到《甲骨文选注》再到《甲骨文文字学》，他为一本本著作十年磨一剑，尽可能地推出学术精品。他始终注重文字学理论的创新，“字素”理论，文字学三维系统理论“在学界产生巨大影响，为中国文字学理论体系的构建，添加了浓墨重彩的一笔”。在完成“里程碑”文化工程之后，又开始建构他的文字学理论大厦，《汉字学元点理论及其相关问题——兼谈汉字认知的若干误区》又是重要见证。

Mr. Li Lingpu was so academic researches. As the Great Wall great that he devoted his whole life to to Chinese people his twelve volumes of works, A Collection of Annotation on Ancient Chinese Character （《古文字诂林》） are extraordinary academic achievements. His unremitting pursuit in the philology research might account for them. From Selections on Oracle Manufacturing （《甲骨文选读》 ）, Annotations on Oracle Manufacturing （《甲骨文选注》）, to the Philology of Oracle Manufacturing （《甲骨文文字学》）, he just like a knight ten years rubbing a sword, had been working for these sublime works of academy everlasting. He always paid attention to the innovation of philology theory, and his grapheme theory as well as the philology theory of three-dimensional system had a great influence in academe, which shed light on the academic construction of Chinese philology theory. After finishing the cultural project remembered as a milestone, he started to construct his philology theory building, and Chinese Characters Foothold Theory and Its Related Problems and Some Wrong Cognition about Chinese Characters was an important witness.
