摘要
膜电极(MEA)的压缩率对高温质子交换膜燃料电池(HT-PEMFC)的性能具有重要影响。实验中采用相同厚度的MEA和5种不同厚度的垫片,在最大预紧力下,自行组装了5种HT-PEMFC。实验测试了HT-PEMFC的性能曲线和交流阻抗特性曲线,分析了燃料电池安装时的压缩率和电池温度对其伏安特性和交流阻抗特性的影响。实验结果表明HT-PEMFC的性能随电池温度升高而提高;MEA压缩率为20.8%的HT-PEMFC性能明显优于其他压缩率的电池性能。实验结果对HT-PEMFC操作参数优化和实际应用具有重要价值。
The compression rates of membrane electrode assembly (MEA) play a very important role in the performance of high temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cell (HT-PEMFC). In this paper, the same thickness of the MEA and five different thicknesses of the gaskets were used to assemble five HT-PEMFCs. The performance curves and AC impedances of HT-PEMFCs were tested. And the effects of the MEA compression rate and the cell temperature on the characteristics and AC impedances of HT-PEMFC were analyzed. The results show that the HT-PEMFC performance improves with the increase of the fuel cell temperature; when the compression rate of MEA is 20.8%, the HT-PEMFC shows the best performance. The experimental results are very helpful for the parameter optimization of HT-PEMFC and its application.
