Through the selection on pile cap cofferdam construction plan, this paper gained the reinforcement scheme using steel sheet cofferdam in Wuhai Gandeer Yellow River bridge, discussed in detail the design key points and construction mode of steel sheet pile cofferdam, the practice proved that, using this reinforcement scheme could save the steel materials and equipment investment, achieved good economic benefits.
