摘要
严格区分并清晰界定教育传统和传统教育,是澄清对传统的认识,走出传统问题误区的必须。教育传统是文化,传统教育是学术。传统教育不宜分好坏,教育传统无所谓好坏。不宜分好坏,则须告别“两分法”、“阶级分析法”,代之以“体用法”,即对传统之体从积极有意义的角度作分析研究,将其有益功用发挥出来;无所谓好坏,因为教育传统是活生生地存活于当代民族每一成员心中的文化心理,她既影响于现在、也渗透于未来。对教育传统,只有弘扬的问题。
It is a must in clarifying the understanding of tradition and in getting rid of the misconception of it so as to make a sharp distinction and clear dimarcation between eductional tradition and traditional education.Educational tradition is cultural and traditional educafion is academic.It is not proper to distinguish good ones from bad ones in dealing with the problem of traditional education and it is meaningless to classify eductional tradition as good ones or bad ones.The improperness makes it necessavy to abandon the approaches of“ one divided into two”, or“ class analysis” or to make full use of the tradition instead,that is, to make position and meaningful analysis of the“ good” of tradition and bring its innate vigor into full play.It is meaningless to say it is good or bad,for it is a living thing existing in the mind of every Chinese as a kind of cultural state of mind,which influences their present and will permeate their fature.The problem of educational tradition is only a problem of inheritance and expansion.
