Taking the workshop projects of the hydropower stations as the example, the paper introduces the basic points for the upper structural type selection of workshops, and compares and researches the stress and the displacement analysis results of the workshop structures according to the numeric analysis, so as to provide some reference for the engineering designers for the upper structural selection.
