Probing into Mao Zedong's Thoughts of the Criminal Law

:从创建革命根据地和红色政权开始 ,毛泽东就一直十分重视运用刑法手段镇压反革命分子和其他犯罪分子的破坏活动。新中国成立后 ,毛泽东不仅提出了一系列指导我国刑事司法工作的策略思想、方针和原则 ,而且将自己的刑法思想理论变成了刑法司法工作的实践 ,并以自己独特的理论创造和实践经验 ,为马克思主义的刑法学理论体系增添了新的内容。

From the beginnng of setting up the revolutionary base areas and the red political power, Mao Zedong paid great attention to suppressing the destroying action of the anti-revolutionists and the other criminals by means of criminal law. After the founding of new China , Mao not only put forward a lot of tactical thoughts, policy and principle in guiding our juridicial work, but also changed his criminal lawful theory into the practice of our juridicial work. He enlarged a new content for Marxist criminal jurisprudential theory system by using his practical experience and special created theory. His thoughts of criminal law are still the direction of our criminal lawful theory and practice.
