摘要
介词to、for是英语的两个重要介词,用法灵活,它们又与其他实词构成许多习语性短语。其用法灵活,中国英语学习者准确地掌握其用法比较困难,在运用过程中容易犯错误。本文基于CLEC语料库提供的语料,对中国英语学习者运用介词to、for的差错特点进行分析讨论,并给出了英语教学实践中的启示。
To and for, two important prepositions, abound in English, with complex semantic functions. Moreover, they form many idiomatic phrases with other content words and result in much hardship to the Chinese English learners . The errors are committed by using them. Based on the CLEC(Chinese Learners' English Corpus) Corpus, the article analyses the errors which the Chinese English learners use the prepositions to and for, The implications of the English teaching practice in China are also discussed .
