To construct an exhibition area of Chinese historical civilization in Henan Province has the vital significance. For us Chinese, the project illustrates that the Chinese nation is consciously and self-confidently exploring the origins of Chinese civilization; for the world, it can be the ＂project of an ancient civilized country＂, which presents a beautiful image of Chinese ancient civilization; for the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan compatriots and overseas Chinese, it is the ＂project of our hometown in Henan＂ , which can enhance the attraction and cohesion of the Central Plains Culture. For the people of Henan, it is the ＂Henan image project＂, which can promote the Henanese self-confidence and recast the great image of people of Henan in the minds of the whole country ; For the people of Henan, it is also the ＂soft power development project＂, which can accelerate the central plain＇ s political development, economic development, cultural development, social development and environmental optimization; in terms of Henan Province, it is the ＂project of Henan responsibility,＇, which can encourage people to bear responsibility, take on the important task for Chinese＇civilization inheritance and regional construction. The paper also studied the ways of demonstration of material cultural heritage and intangible cultural heritage of Henan Province
