自建电影字幕平行语料库对翻译教学的启示——以“喜欢”“Know”的索引分析为例

Enlightenment of Self-built Film Subtitle Parallel Corpus on Translation Teaching——Take as Example the Translation Lines of“Xihuan”and“Know”

以语料库翻译学相关理论为理论基础,通过在自建双语电影字幕平行语料库中对汉语"喜欢"和英语"know"及其对应的各种译句的分析,发现电影字幕翻译中对词的翻译远比词典中提供的翻译选项更形象、全面。最后得出结论:在翻译教学中,可考虑使用电影字幕平行语料库,以收到更好的翻译效果。

According to some theories of Corpus-based translation studies and based on self-built film subtitle parallel corpus, this research analyzed the translation lines of the node word ＂Xihuan＂ and ＂Know＂ and found that the translation choices of the two words were more comprehensive than in dictionaries. The results showed that in translation teaching class, film subtitle parallel corpus can be used to reach a better translation effect.
