Application of OSEK/VDX Operating System on EPS

The basic structure and principle of the automotive electronic power steering （EPS） was introduced. Then the standard of OSEK/VDX operating system was proposed based on the current development trend and demand of EPS. The RTA_OSEK operating system of ETAS Company was used to construct the EPS controller＇s software. In addition, considering the demand of functional safety, data protection mechanisms were introduced based on modularity.
