论中国传统城市的环境观

Discussion on the environmental view of Chinese traditional city

文章针对当前城市化进程加快所带来的某些弊端 ,通过对传统城市选址的分析与归纳 ,指出传统城市的生存与发展是与自然环境和协共处的结果 ,城市与自然是共存、共荣、共生的统一体。进而使人们认识到今天的“可持续发展”战略是人类走向 2 1世纪的必由之路。

Through analyzing and inducing the locations of Chinese traditional cities, this article points out that the existance and development of and traditional cities is the result of the cities' harmonious coexistance with their natural envirionment, and as a unit,the city and the nature exist together,develop together and flourish together, and this idea should also be followed in solving some problems resulting from the accelerative proceeding of present urbanization.It is very imperative to realize that the “sustainability” strategy is the only way to the 21st century for mankind.
