基于图像变差函数的多尺度边缘检测

Multiscale edge detection based on image variogram function

文章基于变差函数的变程提出一种滤波尺度参数的确定方法。由于变差函数能反映图像数据的随机性和结构性特征，因而对图像边缘具有识别能力。文中算法根据变差函数的这种性质自适应调整多尺度边缘检测的尺度参数。实验结果表明它能很好地消除噪声而又将图像的细节检测出来。

This paper proposes an algorithm based on image variogram function. Since the variogram function efficiently expresses structural and statistical property of image data, it can discriminate the noise and the edge of image. The algorithm based on the property of the variogram function can adjust the scales of Gauss filter function in the multiscale edge detection. The experimental results show that the method is very feasible and effective.
