Peaceful Interpretations at the Foot of the Yulong Snow Mountain Design of the Lijiang Pullman Resort,Yunnan

文章以中国旅游度假建筑的试验场——丽江为基础,以独特景观的构想、发掘和营造为线索,介绍了丽江铂尔曼酒店的设计思路和核心理念。文章指出度假所结合的文化强度应是适宜的,而不是高强度的;度假建筑需要有一种度假的气质,营造一种度假的氛围;建筑的地域性不应完全受制于文化符号,而应拥有自己一定的自由构筑的空间。

Based on an analysis of the laboratory of Chinese holiday resort architecture, Lijiang, this paper offers an introduction to the design thinking and core concepts of the Lijiang Pullman with references to the excavation and construction of its unique landscape, and points out that the intensity of culture integrated into the act of holidaying has to be appropriate, and not highly intensive. Likewise, holiday resort architecture needs to have a unique holidaying quality that is conducive to a holidaying atmosphere. The regional characteristics of architecture must not be dictated by its cultural symbol, and should come with a space for free construction.
