《关于建国以来党的若干历史问题的决议》是关于党史国史的历史性文献。党在历史决议中正确评价毛泽东的历史地位,坚持和发展毛泽东思想,拨乱反正,在党史国史问题上统一了全党思想。历史决议的酝酿、发起、起草与通过,以及在起草过程中的民主讨论,成为改革开放以来党的思想理论发展史的重要组成部分。其思想史料分布集中,内容丰富,形式多样。对此进行系统地整理与研究,不仅要深入发掘,而且要历史地探析史料的产生、史料的内容及其相互关系,以进一步廓清起草历史决议的思想发展史的脉络,还历史本源。

＂Resolutions for Certain Historical Issues of the Party since the Establishment of the P. R. C＂ is a historical literature of party history and national history. In ＂Historical Resolution＂ the Party correctly evaluates the historical status of Mao Zedong, adheres to develop Mao Zedong thought, brings order out of chaos and unifies the thought of the whole party about the issues of party history and national history. The preparation, initiation, drafting and pass and the democratic discussion in the process of drafting the ＂Historical Resolution＂ becomes an important part of ideological and theoretical history development since the reform and opening up. The distribution of its thought and historical materials is centralized, content is rich and form is diverse. The systematical collation and research should not only dig deep, but also historically analyze the generation of historical materials, historical content and their relationship in order to further clarify the development of thought history of drafting the ＂Historical Resolution＂ and go back to the historical origin.
