学生感知需求的调查分析:商务英语专业课程重构设想 被引量:43

Investigation of students' felt needs in view of curriculum reconstruction for business English major

摘要 我国商务英语专业自设立以来发展迅速,关于商务英语三维课程群建设也已形成一定理论共识,然而地方高校商务英语专业课程却有待重构。本研究从学生感知需求这一主要问题出发,通过三角验证方法考察毕业实习对学生商务英语课程需求的触发作用,探讨改变学生延后需求为即时需求的途径。研究发现,实习是改善学生相关商务课程即时需求的关键。实习前学生的感知需求主要是纯语言技能拓展,实习后他们的需求转向商务语言使用,尤其需要跨学科专业知识技能。本研究的意义在于揭示了学生能够通过贯穿本科4年学习的社会实践实现与社会需求互动,从而发挥其对于重构商务英语课程体系的积极能动作用。 Business English (BE) major has been developing rapidly since its establishment in China, and a theoret- ical consensus has been reached on the tripartite BE curriculum design. However, there is still call for BE curriculum reconstruction in local universities. Starting from the major issue of students' felt needs for BE courses, this study in- vestigates through triangulation the triggering effect of graduation business practice on students' course needs and the way of changing their delayed needs to immediate needs. It finds that business practice is the key to improving students' immediate needs for BE courses. Before business practice students feel the essential need for improving lan- guage skill, while after business practice they feel the driving need for business language use, interdisciplinary knowl- edge and skill in particular. The significance of the study lies in revealing students' proactive role in BE curriculum reconstruction when they interact with social needs through social practice over the four academic years.
