Xu Fang is an important adherent scholar and poet of the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. In his whole life, Xu Fang showed profound love toward Qunshan. In Kunshan, Xu Fang had his excellent teachers, sincere friends and spiritual companions, and having contact and communications with them formed a spiritual axis that influenced and guided his growth and development. Kunshan is an important place that helped Xu Fang obtain great achievements in his scholarship and firm character.
