Heritage Protection and Utilization of the Great Canal that Highlights the Universal Values

中国大运河2013年接受了国际组织ICOMOS专家的现场考察,将于今年6、7月份在世界遗产大会上由世界遗产委员会表决是否列入世界遗产。无论是在申遗过程中,还是列入世界遗产后,大运河文化遗产的保护与利用都是一个重要的课题。从大运河文化遗产的突出普遍价值出发,来分析大运河文化遗产的现状保护、法规保护和利用,并从基于其突出普遍价值的保护以及在保护前提下的利用两个方面,探讨如何进一步加强大运河文化遗产的保护与利用。

The Grand Canal of China had just experienced extensive exanimation by international experts from ICOMOS. The results of the World Heritage Application will be released in June or July during The World Heritage Convention next year based on World Heritage Committee＆#39;s vote. No matter during the application or after successfully enter into the category, the preservation and utilization of cultural heritages are fundamental points we should examine. Formulating regulations and projects to further protect and utilize the Grand Canal heritage will always be based on outstanding universal values of these heritages.
