张荫棠遭训诫与离藏原因探析

On Admonition of Zhang Yintang and his Leave from Tibet

张荫棠在大刀阔斧的革新藏事的关键时刻,被清廷调离,他所开启的藏事革新大打折扣。不应简单地认为张荫棠离藏的原因是其新政开始不久遭清廷的训诫。张荫棠离藏有其复杂的原因,包括驻藏系统官员联豫等人的排挤,新政引起各方守旧势力的反对等等,根本原因在于行将没落的清政府对藏事"畏难苟安"。

At the critical moment of his innovation in Tibet, Zhang Yintang was transferred by the Qing government, and his reform was not finished yet. Admonition by the government should not be simply accounted as the reason. There are also other complicated factors such as exclusion of local officials and opposition from conservative parties. The basic reason lies in fearing of difficulties and seeking for temporary peace from Qing government.
