This article binds in the mind with the ongoing strategic development of west China.It points out that the small town construction has so much positive effects in enlarging the domestic demand,speeding up the urbanization and promoting economic prosperity in Guizhou province.The author uses modern urbanization theory and labor flowing model to demonstrate his suggestions including fund raising,administrative area setting,town planning,pillarindustry selecting and town administration etc..Speeding up the urbanization also demands relavent reform of land system,household registering system,and social security system.This article has analyzed the economic,social and cultural factors that restrict the construction of small towns.
