The paper introduces packing features and mechanism of the high pressure boiler F.W.P. The causes of leaking between packing and shaft are analysed. Two kinds of packing: i. e. carbon with fiber and soft graphite are used. The sealing effect is excellent for high pressure boiler F.W.P.
