On Preservation and Development of Minguo Literature in Nanjing Library

南京图书馆积极组织实施民国文献保护计划,采取多种措施加强民国文献的保护,如提升书库保管条件、积极引进影印本和数字资源以替代和保护原本、开展民国文献缩微工作、加快民国文献数字化进程等,并通过影印、编撰整理、建设数据库等方式形成了一批较有影响力的成果,纸张酸化研究和文献展览是该馆民国文献保护与宣传推广的重要内容。

Nanjing Library is preparing itself positively for the implementation of the conservation program for Minguo literatures. On the one hand, it strengthens the protection of Minguo literatures by enhancing stack man- agement, introducing the photocopies and digital resources in place of the original copies, developing microfilm work and escalating the digitalization process of Minguo literatures; on the other hand, it produces influential a- chievements in photocopying, compilation and arrangement, database building, and other ways. The study and relevant exhibitions on paper acidification are key to the research and promotion of Minguo literatures. 3 refs.
