作为祝晓峰曾经的老师、同事、学友、项目设计合作者，我有机会较为完整地见证了他至今为止的建筑生涯，对他的设计思想和设计作品有一定的了解和认识。在我看来，祝晓峰展示了一条十分清晰、连贯的专业进化路径，

Gong Weimin has known Zhu Xiaofeng since he was a student and believes that even as an aspiring architect, Zhu Xiaofeng had a clear direction – to localize contemporary architecture. Gong Weimin asserts that this tendency has only deepened over time because Zhu Xiaofeng's architectural ethos has avoided the pitfalls of 'heroism'. Instead, he uses an architectural language that comprises local culture, materials and artisanal knowledge. The Victory Street Neighborhood and Elder Care Center, for example, manifests Zhu Xiaofeng's vision. He combined traditional wooden structure technology with modern materials and standards to craft a site that expresses both local history and its contemporary aspirations.
