TMS320VC5509A并行Flash的二次自举方法研究

摘要 TMS320VC5509A的Boot Loader不支持翻页访问外部存储器的功能,无法实现大于16KB的程序自举。为解决这一问题,提出基于VC5509A并行Flash的二次自举方法。采用容量为1MB的Nor Flash芯片S29AL008D作为存储DSP程序的外部存储空间,利用FPGA芯片控制Flash的高位地址线,实现DSP对Flash的翻页访问。介绍了VC5509A的Boot Loader工作原理,提出编写Second Loader程序实现DSP的二次自举。该方法所采用的硬件架构具有普遍适用性,二次自举方法简单实用,使得VC5509A能够支持大于16KB程序的自举。 Boot Loader of TMS320VC5509A doesn't support the function of accessing to external memory in pages.As a result,the DSP chip is not able to boot when the DSP program takes up more than 16 KB.In order to solve this problem,a method of VC5509A's secondary boot in parallel Flash mode was proposed in this paper.A Nor Flash chip S29AL008D with 1MB memory room was used as the external memory for the DSP program storage.DSP's accessing to the Flash in pages was realized by using a FPGA chip to control the high address of the Flash.Theory of Boot Loader was presented,and the DSP secondary boot method by using a program of Second Loader was proposed.The hardware structure designed in the method has applicability in many fields.The secondary hoot method is easy and practical,and makes the VC5509A could support the boot when the DSP program is larger than 16 KB.
